TUSCANY
2002 — Seven days

Location: Villa Cennina is a 16th Century Villa set in the hills of Tuscany just 8 kilometers from historic Sienna and 70minutes from Florence. The villa is on a hill providing grand views of the rolling countryside dotted with the vineyards, orchards, villas and hill towns that define Tuscany.

Accommodations: The restored villa provides comfortable rooms with private baths in ‘period-style’ ambiance. Additional contemporary rooms are available a short walk from the older villa. All provide warmth and charm that brings together the best of historic and modern Italy.

Program: A complete exposure to the foods and cooking of Tuscany under the direction of resident teaching chef Gianluca Pardini. Mr. Pardini has built an exquisite teaching kitchen that provides the perfect opportunity for everyone to participate and have a comfortable learning experience. There will be a total of four cooking classes, culminating with guests enjoying their efforts at the table together!

Tours Include: Day trips to Sienna, Florence and San Gimignano three towns ranging from small to large and all occupying a unique charms, not to mention art, architecture and history. Visits to wine producers in Chianti, Montepulciano and Montalcino. The 12th Century Abbey @ St. Antimo. Organic Farm that produces Cheese, Salami and Prosciutto. Local restaurants for meals featuring the best of the Tuscan table.
