Full Day private walking tour of Porto focusing on history, culture and cuisine

Perfectly curated for curious travelers, this experience is tailored to your interests and led by a passionate local guide — your personal host to the city’s hidden gems, iconic landmarks, and culinary treasures.

Free for dinner this evening: Vinhos d’Alho, Taberna Dos Mercadores, Tapabento, Casario, Postigo de Carvao, etc

Day 3, May 1

This morning after a leisurely breakfast, we walk across the iconic Dom Luís I Bridge to Vila Nova de Gaia for a visit to one of the city’s historic Port wine cellars. Here, you'll learn about the aging process, the history of the region’s world-famous fortified wine, and enjoy a guided Port wine tasting featuring different styles — from ruby to tawny — carefully selected to deepen your appreciation of this unique tradition. We will stop for lunch at Ar de Rio before heading back across the river.

Day 4, May 2

Check out and meet our driver and guide for a private tour of Braga and/or Guimares and Lunch on our way to Duoro Valley

Day 5, May 3

Depart for Quinta da Boavista, where you will be welcomed into an exclusive culinary setting overlooking the Douro River. In a private and relaxed atmosphere, a chef will guide you through a hands-on gastronomic experience inspired by seasonal, locally sourced ingredients. Before cooking begins, you will have the opportunity to explore the estate’s garden and select fresh produce that will form part of your menu. As the experience unfolds, enjoy the peaceful surroundings and a glass of regional wine while your meal is carefully prepared in front of you.

After lunch, continue to the renowned Quinta de São Luiz – Kopke 1638 estate, set among terraced vineyards and dramatic valley views. Here you will explore the property and discover the long-standing winemaking tradition behind one of Portugal’s most historic Port wine producers.

The visit concludes with a curated Port wine tasting, offering a selection of expressions that reflect the depth and character of the Douro region. This is the perfect moment to relax, take in the landscape, and fully appreciate the connection between land, tradition, and craftsmanship.

To complete this memorable Douro Valley experience, embark on a leisurely one-hour cruise along the majestic Douro River for breathtaking views of the scenic countryside and terraced vineyards.

Day 6, May 4

Depart for Evora with a stop in the historic town of Tomar, famously established in the 12^th century as the headquarters for the Knights Templar.

Before continuing our journey to Evora we will have lunch at Bela Vista.

Day 7, May 5

Venture into the Alentejo countryside for a unique experience at a traditional cork estate. Enjoy a jeep tour through the cork oak forest, where you’ll gain insight into the harvesting process and the importance of cork production in Portugal, while taking in the beautiful natural surroundings. This experience is followed by a wine tasting at the estate.

Afterwards, continue to João Portugal Ramos Winery, one of the region’s most renowned producers. Here, you will enjoy a guided visit of the winery, followed by a traditional Portuguese lunch paired with a selection of their wines, offering a true taste of Alentejo’s rich culinary and wine heritage.

Day 8, May 6

Private guided walking tour of Evora before departing for Cascais. Set out on foot to explore the city's rich cultural heritage, visiting landmarks and attractions such as the Roman Temple of Évora, the Gothic Cathedral of Évora, and the Chapel of Bones.

Lunch in Evora before heading to Cascais at Na T’acho.

Arrive Cascais and check into Hotel Albatroz. Free time to explore the town and have dinner on your own: SULT, Lumiere, Taberna Clandestina, etc…

Options: Paredao Walk along the coastal promenade to Estoril (3 km), visit Mercado da Vila, a lively local market, walk 15 minutes along the coast to see the Boca do Inferno, a dramatic chasm where the Atlantic crashes into the rocks, explore the narrow lanes and colorful buildings of the historic city center, visit the town of Sintra, etc…

Day 9, May 7

Half Day guided gastronomic and cultural tour of Lisbon: Immerse yourself in a journey to the heart of Portuguese cuisine! This is not just about eating and drinking – it’s about savoring the rich history and vibrant culture that defines Lisbon’s culinary landscape. Our licensed guides will enrich your experience with fascinating stories and historical context as you explore the iconic neighborhoods of Mouraria and Downtown Lisbon.

Our tour ends after breakfast this morning. Individual transfers to the Lisbon airport will be arranged.
