The Primary Tour Itinerary Includes:

Day 1

independent arrivals to our hotel in Sorrento, this afternoon we will meet for a welcome cocktailfollowed by dinner at a nearby “ristorante”

Day 2

Today we will enjoy an informative guided tour of Pompeii followed by a wine tasting lunch at Bosco diMedici at the base of Mount Vesuvius. Free afternoon and evening in Sorrento to stroll the quaint alleys and shops of the charming village. Dinner is on your own this evening, lots of options!

Day 3

This morning, we visit a multi-generation family owned and operated farm where we will learn about cheese making, visit the winery and olive oil mill, have a limoncello demonstration, and finally make our own pizzas!

We will return in the late afternoon, and you will be free to enjoy dinner on your own this evening.

Day 4

This morning we depart for Matera, one of Italy’s most extraordinary cities—an ancient cave settlement transformed into a cultural treasure. Nestled in the Basilicata region of southern Italy, it offers a hauntingly beautiful blend of prehistoric architecture, rich history,and modern charm.

Upon arrival, we will meet our professional guide,Vito for a walking tour of this truly unique city. Dinner at a nearby restaurant

Day 5

Free day to explore fascinating Matera!

Options: hike across the gorge to Murgia park, explore the “sassi”, wine tour, cooking class (reservations required)

Tonight we will walk to dinner together at a local restaurant.

Day 6

Puglia, the sun-drenched heel of Italy’s boot, is aregion of dazzling coastlines, ancient towns, and unforgettable food. It’s a dream destination for travelers seeking authenticity, beauty, and flavor without the crowds of more famous Italian regions

Depart for Monopoli with a stop in the UNESCO village of Alberobello, known for its ancient dry stack stone conical roofed dwellings. Guided walking tour of Alberobello with local guide, Guido followed by free time for lunch and more exploring before departing for Monopoli. Check into our “Masseria”, beautifully renovated ancient farmhouse. Cocktail and welcome reception followed by dinner at Masseria

Day 7

Depart for Bari and a guided walking tour of the ancient labyrinth alleyways of Bari Vecchia with “streetfood” stops along the way.

The afternoon will be free, options to tour the towns of Monopoli or Polignano al Mare, lounge by the pool, spa services, etc.

This evening we will regroup for a cooking class at our Masseria followed by the dinner we prepared

Day 8

Guided visit of an olive oil farm followed by a tasting at Azienda Agricola Savoia. Afterward we will enjoy a winery tour and tasting lunch in the heart of the Valle D’Itria.

Return to our Masseria to relax before our final aperitivo and dinner in Italia

Day 9

Tour ends after breakfast

Independent departures to Bari train station or airport. Grazie e Arrivederci!
